Our internal plastering service comes as standard with your build, ensuring your new garden building is ready for use as soon as possible, feeling like an extension of your home rather than a standalone premises.

We plaster all internal walls and ceilings for a completely seamless interior finish. Once dry, the space is ready for painting, flooring, furnishings, plumbing and more, giving you the freedom to style your new build however you choose.

This level of finish is ideal for garden rooms and extensions set to be used as an office space, home studio, home gym, hobby room, self-contained annexe and more. Essentially, anywhere you want a warm and comfortable living environment.

Finishing Your Garden Buildings – Inside and Out

To finish your garden building’s interior, we use a sturdy plasterboard system combined with smooth skim plastering to deliver a high standard of finishing throughout.

This gives your build the same feel and quality you’d expect inside your home, while also helping with insulation and acoustics. Our team will take care of everything including:

– Skim plastering all walls and ceilings

– Ensuring clean edges ready for decoration

– Leaving the space smooth and ready for your chosen paint or finish

Plastered Internal Finish FAQs

Is internal plastering included as standard?

Yes, once the external build is complete, we plaster the internal walls and ceilings as part of the standard finishing process.

We offer additional plastering options on request, including UPVC and timber cladding options.

Do you plaster both walls and ceilings?

We plaster all internal walls and ceilings.

Once the plaster has dried, the room will then be fully ready for painting, flooring, skirting and other furnishing. We leave the interior clean and prepared so you can move straight on to the final decorative touches.

How long does the plaster take to dry before decorating?

Plaster usually takes around 5 to 7 days to dry fully depending on temperature and weather conditions. We’ll advise you on drying times and the best point to start decorating.

Can plumbing be added for bathrooms or kitchens?

Yes, plumbing can be added as an optional extra if you want garden room or SIP extension to include a bathroom or kitchen.

All pipework is installed before plastering takes place, so everything is concealed and professionally finished.

Can electrics be installed before plastering?

Yes, any electrical wiring, sockets, switches or lighting are installed before plastering begins.

This allows all cables to be neatly hidden within the walls, resulting in a clean, modern finish with no exposed wiring.

Well what can I say.... The team were absolutely perfect. They kept me in contact through all stages of the build, including contacting the subcontractors for plastering and electricals. The only they they were unable to do was get my ethernet ran through the attic to the garden office, but they did run it until the last point before a ladder was required! Dan and team did such a great job. The frame was up in one day as they were able to cut the SIPs in the yard. They managed to get me bifold doors at a discount, which helped with finances too. Great leeway where needed and EXCELLENT budget consciousness from the team. They built exactly what I wanted, for exactly as much as I was willing to pay Incredible work.

Dan was very precise and kept to the schedule, although they quoted us until the end of the week but they completed the foundations and build with 2 days!!!
